When you take a photo of a receipt on a table at an angle, it creates perspective distortion. ToolZappy uses projective geometry (Homography transformation) with bilinear pixel interpolation to mathematically map the 4 corners of your tilted receipt into a straightened, flat top-down rectangular image.
Can I use this on mobile phones (iPhone / Android)?
Yes! ToolZappy works seamlessly on mobile browsers. You can tap "Take Picture with Camera" to open the live viewfinder or capture photos directly with your phone camera, complete with auto-straightening and document enhancement.
What does the Magic Color and Clean B&W filter do?
The Magic Color filter levels background illumination, removes messy shadows cast by hands or room lights, and enhances text contrast while keeping logos vibrant. Clean B&W uses adaptive binarization to turn paper pure white and text pitch black, making it perfect for printing, archiving, and tax filing.
How does the AI Receipt Data Extraction work?
ToolZappy uses multimodal AI Vision models to analyze your straightened receipt, identifying the store name, transaction date, line items with quantities and unit prices, subtotal, tax/VAT, tip, and grand total. You can edit any field and export to PDF, CSV (Excel), or JSON.
